Shamanism is the birthplace of spirituality and culture. It is over 40,000 years old and it is a very natural, spiritual path, where a person can discover greater peace, happiness and a connection to all living things. In the Shamanism taught by Natasha Saltzer, you learn to reach heightened states of consciousness ,without the need of any stimulants i.e drugs, alcohol or any induced plant medicine and from this new awareness you can gain greater understanding of who you are, what brings you genuine fulfilment and personal joy. Shamanism teaches us that there is more to life then what meets the eye and there are many riches to be found in the world of energy/spirit to help us with guidance, healing and balance in all aspects of our life.
"We live in quite turbulent and uncertain times at present and I sense that more and more people are seeking new ways to bring balance and peace into their own lives. I believe that Shamanism has much to offer in this personal quest, Shamanism has its roots in our shared shamanic heritage and ancestry worldwide. Shamanic cultures have traditionally sought to live in harmony with the land and all living things. I feel passionate about helping raise the profile of Shamanism to help our modern culture do the same. "

- An Ute Prayer
“In many shamanic societies, if you came to a shaman or medicine person complaining of being disheartened, dispirited, or depressed, they would ask one of four questions:
When did you stop Dancing?
When did you stop Singing?
When did you stop being enchanted by Stories?
When did you stop finding comfort in the sweet territory of Silence?
Dancing, singing, storytelling, and silence are the four universal healing salves and where we have stopped them is where we have experienced the loss of soul.” ~ Gabrielle Roth
Why Shamanism and why now?
"What am I? Am I the bulb that carries the light, or am I the light of which the bulb is a vehicle?" Joseph Campbell
Is SHAMANISM for you?
Have you ever felt that there was more to life, then just the physical world? Have you felt awe in the natural world, had a sense of aliveness in all living things?
Have you ever sat and watched a sunset and felt you were witnessing something greater, then what your eyes alone could comprehend? Have you had spiritual experiences, that have opened up a sense of curiosity in yourself, to the greater mystery of life?
Perhaps you have felt a calling....but a calling to what? Shamanism ultimately leads you back to truth...back to your soul and authentic self.
The shaman learns to move between the physical world and the world of energy/spirit. The ordinary and non-ordinary reality. Shamanism teaches us that all of life is sacred. Shamanism is a way of life. To walk in balance, to walk in wholeness, to walk in integrity, to walk the beauty path.
ULTIMATELY THROUGH YOUR OWN CONNECTION TO HIGHER INTELLIGENCE AND SOURCE ENERGY YOU HAVE ACCESS TO ALL THE WISDOM & HEALING THAT YOU SEEK. A TEACHER CAN SHOW YOU THE PATH, BUT IT IS YOUR PATH TO WALK.
Our retreats are for beginners and those who wish to reconnect with a Shamanic medicine circle.
They offer wonderful opportunity to discover how Shamanism could help you lead a more, authentic, soulful, balanced life of greater aliveness.
On the retreats you will work with some of the core aspects of Shamanic work; shamanic journeying, meditation, connecting with spiritual energy safely, sacred song, dance and medicine teachings.
Working under the umbrella of love and light, Natasha teaches with a strong emphasis on creating a high vibrational circle, to hold a friendly, safe and inspiring space to work in.
