Yoga has been part of Sushi's life for eighteen years and she has been teaching for eight of those. What started as purely physical practice for her, has deepened, as she has learnt how to use yoga to face lifes challanges and celebrate being in a physical body. Having wandered her way through many different styles, she seeks to offer what is needed in each class, from everything that she has learnt. She is constantly amazed how a tiny bit of practice can transform energy and mood in herself and in her students.
Sushi will be offering daily yoga sessions and workshops suitable for women with no, little or lots of experience in yoga. She will guide you through postures, breathing exercises and relaxation, giving you a chance to explore being you. As well as a general practice to align with the divine, she will weave restorative poses, yoga to balance the moon cycle and deep transformative Yoga Nidra (conscious sleep) into the sessions so that you have a chance to experience more of what yoga can offer.
" I am passionate about community and how, simply being surrounded by loving and open minded people can facilitate healing and wellbeing. I feel that the effects are multiplied when the meeting takes place surrounded by beauty and supported by nourishing food.
I have also felt and observed how when people practice, the whole is greater than the sum of parts and everyone present receives the benefit of the practice.
As a busy working mother I know first hand how important it is to make time to process the inner journey, helping to create health, peace of mind and an increased enjoyment of life."
